Elliott Achieves Korean CAB Status
Elliott Laboratories has recently been accredited as a Phase-I
Conformity Assessment Body for Korean approvals (RRL/MIC) by the
National Institute of Standards and Technology. For years, US-based
manufacturers have had to perform testing for Korean approvals only
at Korean-based test laboratories, adding significant time, expense
and complexity to the product compliance process. This new
accreditation opens the door for testing to Korean standards right
here in the US, providing an easily accessible path to Korean
approvals for US-based manufacturers.
Under this new accreditation Elliott Laboratories can now test
products that are covered by the Korean emissions standards KN11,
KN13, KN14-1 and KN22 as specified in the Radio Reasearch Laboratory
(RRL) Notice No. 2005-82. Please note the listed KN standards are the
Korean adoptions of the CISPR publications 11, 13, 14-1 and 22.
Elliott is also able to test products covered by the Korean immunity
standards KN61000-4-2, KN61000-4-3, KN61000-4-4, KN61000-4-5,
KN61000-4-6, KN61000-4-8, KN61000-4-11, KN20 and KN24 as specified in
the Radio Research Laboratory Notice No. 2005-130. Please note the
listed KN standards are the Korean adoptions of IEC publications
61000-4-2, 61000-4-3, 61000-4-4, 61000-4-5, 61000-4-6, 61000-4-8,
61000-4-11 and CISPR publications 20 and 24.
